Adv. Shri. Vijay Naval Patil

Adv. Vijay (Nanasaheb) Patil is a highly respected and seasoned legal professional with an illustrious career spanning several decades. Based in Dhule, Maharashtra, he has built a strong reputation for his legal expertise, ethical practice, and unwavering dedication to justice.

He has served as a Legal Advisor to the Zilla Parishad, Dhule- zilla parishad 1977 and has represented both the State of Maharashtra and the Government of India in various important matters. He was also appointed as Standing Counsel for the Government of Maharashtra in 1989-91 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, reflecting his standing and credibility in the legal fraternity. He was a Panel Advocate for State of Maharashtra and Union of India.

Apart from his active legal practice, Adv. Patil has made remarkable contributions to legal awareness and education.

He has conducted state-level workshops on “Legal Aid to the Poor” and “Judicial Activism,” promoting access to justice and legal literacy.

His commitment to education is reflected in his role as the Founder of V.N. Patil Law College, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, which today has a strength of over 1200 students from which 15 students became JMFC and also District judges and continues to shape future legal professionals.

An accomplished author of several legal books and a Life Member of the Indian Council of Arbitration, Adv. Patil remains a guiding force in the field of law.
